Linuxカーネルにおいて、driver coreのdevice_add()関数には潜在的なNULLポインタ参照の脆弱性があり、修正されました。この問題は、w1_alloc_dev()関数内でdev-driverが設定される前にdevice_add()のエラー処理経路でbus_remove_device()が呼ばれるために発生し、ドライバがバインドされていない状態でklist_removeがNULLポインタを参照してしまいます。この脆弱性によりカーネルでNULLポインタ参照が生じ、システムの安定性に影響を与える可能性がありました。修正内容としては、エラー処理経路でbus_remove_device()を呼ぶ前にdev-driverをNULLに設定することで、この問題を防止しています。
