Debian等の複数ベンダの製品における不特定の脆弱性

Linuxカーネルにおいて、次の脆弱性が修正されました。btrfs_copy_root()関数で予期しないeb（extent buffer）の世代が検出された場合にトランザクションを中止します。従来は、btrfs_copy_root()でクローンしているextent bufferに予期しない世代が見つかっても、WARN_ON()のみを実行し、エラーを返してトランザクションを中止しなかったため、予期しない世代のメタデータが永続化される可能性がありました。この問題を解決するために、警告のみならずトランザクションを中止し、-EUCLEANを返すように変更されました。

当該ソフトウェアが扱う情報について、外部への漏えいは発生しません。
また、当該ソフトウェアが扱う情報について、書き換えは発生しません。
さらに、当該ソフトウェアが完全に停止する可能性があります。
そして、この脆弱性を悪用した攻撃の影響は、他のソフトウェアには及びません。
