Adobe Reader X contains a vulnerability which may allow the sandbox to be bypassed.

Yuji Ukai of Fourteenforty Research Institute, Inc. reported this vulnerability to IPA.

Impact

Arbitrary process using arbitrary arguments may be executed with the privileges of the user.
Solution

[Update the software and apply MS13-005]
Update to the latest version of Adobe Reader X and make sure that the Microsoft Patch MS13-005 is applied.
